How do I find out which dates are available?
Take a look at the course calendar page on the website, here you will find a list of available dates. These dates apply to any of the courses. Feel free to contact me directly if you are unsure.
I work Monday – Friday. Do you do any courses at the weekend?
In addition to the many weekday courses we offer, we also have courses on 2 weekends per month. These weekend dates sell out very quickly, so please remember to book well in advance.
Where do the courses take place?
Courses are held here in Nantwich, Cheshire. A huge range of accommodation is available in Nantwich or nearby Chester, which is approximately 25 minutes away.
What do I need to bring?
All you need are comfortable shoes and a sandwich for a quick lunch. A notebook and camera might be useful but handouts and design leaflets are available.
Do I have to pay for any extras?
Absolutely not. All flowers, foliages, vases, tapes, wires, beads and ribbons are supplied and included within the course fees. If required for home use, a toolkit can be supplied at the reduced rate of £45.00 for those attending a course.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you can bring a friend to share your course. There is no extra charge and you can decide between you how you would like to share the workload.
I want to do some of the flowers for my own wedding – can we use the course to practice?
This is a popular request and one which is always very enjoyable. We have a specific course available for this. You will need to decide on colours, styles and themes and forward the details to me ahead of time, that way I can plan the course just for you.
I would like to buy a course as a gift. Can I buy a Gift Voucher and discuss details of colours and dates later?
Yes – vouchers are available and make a wonderful gift, the details can all be arranged after the gift has been presented to your lucky recipient. Vouchers start from £25 and can be redeemed against courses or equipment. Vouchers are available by post or email, please contact me for further details.
When and how do I pay?
Payment by cheque or Paypal please. See the courses page for payment details. A 50% booking fee is required to reserve and secure your chosen date. The balance is required in full 14 days prior to the course.
Can I contact you by phone?
I am not always available on the telephone as I may be holding a course. Please contact me via email with your details and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
The Flower Arranging School was established by flower arranging expert, Ada Haygarth. Having worked for many years designing and implementing floral arrangements for Film, Television and Weddings, Ada decided to develop her passion for floral design by passing on her extensive knowledge and teaching her varied array of skills to others.
Her aim is to provide a fun experience backed up with all the knowledge and know-how to get you started in flower arranging. Ada’s contacts and valuable experience mean that she can offer a real sense of what it is to work in floral design and she can offer practical knowledge and advice when it comes to planning arrangements for your own function or event.
Ada’s genuine enthusiasm for flowers and gardens really shines through and her ability to involve and engage each group member results in students who feel confident, assured and inspired. Feel free to contact Ada directly if you would like to gain more information about her and her courses.
