Wedding Floristry Workshop

Learn the secrets of wedding floristry and gain the skills to create beautiful, bespoke arrangements in our Nantwich studio.

Duration: 4 hours (Half Day) Price: £125 per guest Teacher: Ada Haygarth, The Flower Arranging School

Overview

Whether you are a bride-to-be planning to create your own wedding flowers, a friend wanting to help out with a DIY wedding, or simply a flower lover curious about bridal design, this immersive four-hour workshop is the perfect introduction to wedding floristry.

What you’ll do: Led by Ada – who brings extensive professional experience designing breathtaking floral arrangements for Weddings, Film, and Television – you will learn the essential techniques needed to create classic wedding party florals.

During this hands-on, focused session, we will demystify the process of wedding floristry. You’ll start by learning how to select the best seasonal blooms, prepare and condition your stems for maximum longevity (crucial for wedding days!), and choose complementary colour palettes.

Step-by-step, Ada will guide you through crafting a stunning, hand-tied bridal bouquet using the professional spiral technique, finishing it beautifully with elegant ribbon binding. You will also learn the delicate, intricate wire-work required to create professional-standard buttonholes (boutonnières) and corsages.

By the end of the four hours, you’ll have a clear understanding of the mechanics behind wedding florals and the confidence to start planning and creating your own designs for the big day.
